About Clinical UX Rounds
I began my career in clinical occupational therapy and found my passion working in health tech as a product manager. Over the years, I’ve spoken with countless clinicians who were eager to explore health tech but struggled to find a way in. They had sharp ideas, unique perspectives, and valuable frontline experience, but few opportunities to share them.
At the same time, I connected with product managers, engineers, designers, and founders who all faced the opposite challenge: reaching clinicians to do user testing. Many told me how difficult it was to get time with healthcare professionals who had busy schedules, or how risky it felt to make product decisions without authentic user testing. Too often, I’ve seen those gaps lead to healthcare products that fail or frustrate the very people they’re meant to serve.
That’s why I built Clinical UX Rounds: to bridge this gap. Inspired by the idea of clinical rounds, where multidisciplinary clinicians collaborate to solve complex cases, we’ve built a network that enables clinicians to share their expertise in flexible, paid sessions, helping product teams quickly access the voices they need to build healthcare tools that truly work. Our mission is to help both groups succeed, and to raise the standard for user experience in healthcare technology.
